ORGANIC MODERN CHARMER | CHICAGO, ILLINOIS

In this project I worked with a developer who was building a 4 bed, 4 bath single-family home on newly developed land. The buyers in this area were mostly young families with small children. I wanted to blend the clean lines and minimalist aesthetic of modern design with the warmth and natural elements of organic materials. Using various types of wood with natural finishes on flooring and cabinetry, stone surfaces, like marble, on countertops, backsplash and fireplace surround, and natural materials like leather, cotton, wool, linen, and jute in furniture and accessories for the staging created a harmonious, balanced environment that feels both contemporary and inviting. The brass hardware and lighting elevate the space giving it a luxurious touch.
